Default Need help pulling the motor

Me and my step dad started unhooking and taking parts off. We need to know if you have to take the motor out from the top or bottom?

I believe it can be done both ways, but the easiest is to drop it from the bottom with the trans attached.

Is it an auto trans? if so its a little harder to pull it out the top. I have done it though, you just have to take the front bumper and radiator and radiator support out. Also, after all that i also had to swing the hoist off to the side to get the tranny to the right angle to come out.
