Hi Guys,

I just purchased a 3.5SR with the tech package couple days ago.
It came with fog lights & HIDs, but i want to upgrade both my fog lights & headlights to 6k HIDs.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I know absolutely nothing about HIDs and or which parts to get for the new car.

I've browsed through the forum and was advised the fog lights are HID compatible? I think I just need the ballast & bulb. not sure if i have that correct, but I would love it if you guys can provide what exactly i need to get 6k hid in both my head lights & fog lights.

I love the car and i get excited to drive it everyday!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the purchase!

So you need a 6k HID kit for H11 fogs and a pair of 6k D2S bulbs

so does that mean you can change the bulb for the headlights since they are already HIDs to make them brighter? They seem pretty crappy sitting next to the BMWs with factory HIDs...

I doubt they will be brighter but 6000K will provide a more bluish color. In my case to make up for how dim the headlights look I installed HID foglights.
