Default Newb question...

I've Googled it, checked the owner's manual, even asked the dealership... no luck. What the heck is the purpose of the two little concave things on the center console cup holder?

Don't think so... there's a change holder in the main console (in the 2nd compartment).

After posting this question on a more active forum, the consensus is that the little "nooks" are for the plastic water bottle caps.

By the way - this has got to be the least active (read DEAD) forum on the Internet...

Relax man...there are not many 2010 owners on this forum. Please tell me your kidding about the plastic bottle cap holder.

I am relaxed... you'd know it if I was otherwise. With regards to the bottle caps - that's the only thing that makes sense so far (they fit perfectly). The indentations are too small for a phone, a charger, Ipod, or any other everyday items we carry around with us. Not for coins since there is an actual coin holder in the main console compartment.

I know this isn't a hot topic or a performance mod, so I understand the lack of replies. No worries. It's just one of those things that bug ya until it's resolved - that's all.

Sorry if I offended anyone!
