Im thinking about getting this Unit maybe in the next month... its a bit expensive So I was Wondering what you guys thought about it.

I like that it has everything I could ever want, its Orange so It matches the Interior lighting, and IT FITS! It is very hard to find Head Units that fit 2006 Altimas....it really is

Pioneer is really good! i work at a place that sells an excellent selection of car audio. i had a pioneer premier system in my old car and im never changing again. but pioneer is truely fantastic.

You're going to need a pac audio steering wheel control unit. Like 50 bucks or so. I just got one for my Maxima and i had to get the PAC SWI-PSv1. Not sure if its the same for the Altima. Good luck.

Thanks I ordered that.

I decided on the Double din Head Unit
should have it here and hooked up by the 2nd of July.

DvD is bypassed with a standard relay so dvd's will work on the move as well.
The Ipod connect on this is a USB port, and the unit can handle Flash drives and other usb devices with media on them. all formats as well even divx!

I have a 2005 altima with the bose system.. did you have the bose system? was the installation fairly simple. you get the additional harnesses for the steering wheel controls/bose amp?
