Question Projector Help?

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and thought this would be the best place to try and get some help from all the experienced Altima owners on this site. I have a 2005 Altima SE and want the best way to get the factory HID just like on the SE-R model. Can I simply swap the factory SE-R Projector headlight housing onto my non-HID Altima. Are the headlight housings the exact same size and a direct swap? On top of this I believe I will need an HID Kit (ballasts, wiring etc) to power the factory projectors I have swapped in? I personally do not like the look of the HID's without the factory-look Projector lenses. The sharpness of the beam pattern is what is so attractive to me versus just a reflected HID look with scattered light from a non-projector headlight. What are the aftermarket projectors like in terms of quality and beam pattern. I assume factory projectors is the way to go though. Any help from those with experience in the 05-06 model area would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

the lights will just bolt right in from the SE-R to the regular halogen housing, as long as they are the same year headlights(02-04)(05-06). obviously you would need the ballasts also. Go on ebay and any legit seller
(with tons of positive feedback) sells good quality aftermarket projector housings. but of course the factory would be the best bet for look, feel, etc.

You're almost there...lol.

The SE-R HID's are a good way to go...but they don't have projectors in 'em.

You can definitely find projector headlights on eBay, but some people don't like them. It's a matter of personal taste. From what I hear they are not the best quality, but on the other hand...they look kinda nice.

You WILL also need an HID kit...unless you find a set of headlights that includes HID setup. They are available as a full package with HID's...but they are expensive!

If you find a decent pair of projector headlights, don't get ripped off for the HID ones...instead, visit DDM tuning and get a great deal on a quality HID kit...

Later...

So...does the SE-R have an HID kit or just the bulbs? I thought it was just the bulb because there is no projector, and i can see no evidence of the kit.

what i'm saying is that it would be a lot harder to retrofit the depo housing.
