Sorry I'm a little late with a response. A DIY projector kit has been done a number of times. It requires a set off an Infiniti, (or size equivalent), and cutting apart your stock assemblies.

HID kits are readily available from ebay. I have not done this mod. so can't recommend one versus the other.
