Nevermind I just looked it back up and it's when an HID kit is installed that it's unbearable. It would also be a lot harder to retrofit those over the stock headlights. A guy on another forum has done retrofits on both and said it's a lot harder for the Depos because you have a limited amount of space to aim the lights and make the cutoff nice. You are also limited to which projectors you can use.

What is the thread/s you speak of. I had searched for several at the time before i purchased these and never found much. I retro fitted my stock hids to them. I haven't done much in terms of aiming moistly because the height was perfect out of the box. I do think the projectors are not all that good a quality, which i am surprised coming from depo, normally there stuff is pretty good. I would have to say the light output is not even close to my audi, but its still pretty good.

There are quite a few threads, so just search Depo projectors on nissan club. That's where you'll find most of the info you need. The guy (Digitalbow) that retrofitted in better projectors used the TSX ones. You would have to PM him for specifics on what to do though.

I opened up the opening for the bulb. And trimmed the mounting tabs where the bulbs secure in the housings. You could trim the bulb instead of the socket but sense I knew I was going to be selling the car I didn't want to cause any issues for future people trying to change the bulbs. I had to make caps for the bulb opening as well; I didn't make the caps big enough so I had to mount the heat sink or whatever it is that sits inside the factory caps someplace else, not a big deal. I took pics and I will post them later on tonight. it was really pretty darn easy to do. Just disappointed in the beam pattern. Oh, well when i get back from Honduras I will swap in BMW projectors I have. Hoping I can just swap the lenses as that would be super easy.
