Default Rear Deck Speakers

I have a 2009 nissan altima, I have installed a rockford fosgate power t1 15" sub. Two phoenix gold amps, and all new highs. My friend and I are having problems installing the 6x9's. Can anyone tell me to get access to the 6x9 slots on the rear deck. Will I have to take off that whole top part of the headboard???

right ...take out backseat you will feel two loops on the botom od enach end of the seat its self pull them and seat will pop up. Next lay down back reast and you will have to remove all screws and caps along the top of seat. Next remove the plastic qtr panels on the roof above the deck pops out no screws. Unplug the brake light ....slide deck out...

you have to remove the carpet on the deck witch means removing the trim
I took the the deck right out on my 05 altima when i did mine this took about 25 min to do but it was better then ripping some thing

you have to fold the seats down and take out the bolts from the latches and the plastic, then remove the trim next to rear window (it pops right off) then you can pop the deck cover up and unplug the 3rd brake light and the hole thing will come to you ( it will fill like it wants to brake but it wont) i have had mine of 5 or 6 times. let me know how it works for you.

gotta push the edges down by the pillar covers they are clipped together. or pull off the pillar covers aswell. make it way easier.

there mite be clips in the trunk you have to release but it wont brake just careful of the third brake light you have to unplug it before removing the panel.
and if u r putting subs in the trunk that panel will vibrate allot

it would make the replacement of the rear deck speakers much easier if they made them bottom mount instead of top mount!!

it's just your standard K&N drop-in filter so it was $50 at my local auto parts store, but it did put out a nice growl at 3k rpm when I removed the factory air scoop.

I'll have to put the factory air scoop back on when I buy and install the Takeda short ram intake. I'm opting for the Takeda since it's 50 state CARB legal since I live in California and I don't want the hassle later on of reinstalling the factory air box, then switching back every time I have to have it smogged.
