I'm a Fi fan, so call me biased, but they make great speakers that you can't go wrong with and have one designed specifically for IB purposes.
i like fi to but he wants 8'' and the sa-8 is the best 8 out there to me

Fs T/S parameter is a little high to be running that as IB :/....but it's worth a shot...I'd just cross it over high and not put too much power to it..

0.60 cubes @ 35hz with about 20'' of port should work with about 400-800 watts

CHeck out CDt Audio B-stock, excellent speakers at great price. I along with 8 of my friends are using them and we're all professional audio engineers both live and studio if that says anything.

Any suggestion for SW for 09 Altima sedan hybrid? Trunk is already smaller due to battery pack. I was thinking a custom enclosure against the side of trunk?

maybe a sealed box since it's small to begin with. With a vented/ported box, you need a lot of space

You have a few options here, you can go with a pre fab box like zenclosures makes, you can go with stealth subs like the kenwood all in one subs if you are just looking for a little more bump.

However I would not recommend trying to put 2 large subs on your rear deck, you are talking a lot of work including enclosing them with the correct cubic air space and having to reinforce the metal. As mentioned above lots of vibration as well.

if you're looking for something to put in the rear deck. I would suggest some high end 6x9's great mid-bass without the construction.
