I was interested in changing the backlights for the instrument cluster in my 05 Altima SL from the factory amber to a more exciting color. I was wondering what kind of LED bulbs I would need to buy to accomplish this. If anyone could offer any ideas n which type of LEDs to get and also where I could order the LED lights from that would be great. Thanks.

It isn't the lights that make it that color. It's the actual letters. So you would either have to go aftermarket, or rebuild it yourself.

Hmm, I've never seen or heard anyone doing LED's in Instrument Cluster yet for the Altimas.
