Just got 25% tint all around. I was impressed with the job, but thought the tint would be darker, having talked to and looked at many friends' tinted windows. My brother's accord has 20% tint but is way darker than mine. Anybody else have a similar experience?

Maybe it is actually 35% tint, I suppose it would depend on the brand too.

2 of my buddies have the same % tint from different shops and ones darker than the other.

Would there be any way to find out how dark it is besides getting a cop to check it?

The color of your interior will effect how dark/light the looks also.
