I think you mean has anyone added a tranny cooler...There have been a number of guys that have done it. It's usually done after a good amount of mods, but can be done as a safety measure. It's really a very basic thing to add. You don't need anything special. Universal kits will include all the mounting hardware and line connectors you'll need.

I bought the universal kit from OReilly's for $30ish. It's super easy. Mounted the cooler to the front driver side of my radiator and ran the new lines through a couple holes. Added maybe half quart of fluid. The tranny lines actually run from the round "cooler" on the front end of the transmission up over the tranny back kind of underneath the EGR area. If you buy some line, run one side from the round cooler to the new cooler and the other side run to the part by the EGR. Basically, just extend the loop to include a new piece.

I'll see if I can find the diagram someone posted for me once. When I disconnected the hoses, I expected to lose fluid, but I don't think I lost a drop. As far as differences it's made...I really don't know. I did it as a precaution because I'm sure my transmission gets pretty hot.

Yup...That's it. Stupid huh? Our transmissions use coolant to cool the transmission. I forgot about that when I posted above. And now I remember why I was able to return the extra bottle of tranny fluid I bought.
