hi all i'm new here. i have 97 altima 240k miles on it. And my question is can i just drain and fill my tranny or should i need to go to the shop to get trans fluid change? i know a little bit of mechanic. and what kind of fluid should i use? dexron 2 or 3? thanks..

whats up?
yes, you can just drain it and fill it. the drain plug is located under the car on the front drivers side on the transmission. use dexron IIE or dexron III.
