Exclamation Trunk will not be opened by my smart key

Hey guys,
I own a 09 altima, I recently encountered a problem. My trunk will not be open by my smart key. The unlock, lock button all work fine but just the button that opens the trunk will not work. I was wondering if any of you have this problem? any help will be great. Thanks in advanced guys!

kevin

Do you have 2 FOB's (smartkey) to find out if it is that particular FOB that is the problem? Or have you done that and neither of them work?

Check to see if the switch in your glove box has been turned off by accident (valet switch)

I had this happen to me. i got the same model year as you too. I took the liner off on the trunk lid to expose the wires and fiddled with the cables. Mine were wired backwards for some reason.
