Question VSC off and voiding warranty?

Do we void our warranty at all by having the traction control off?

This is my own opinion no, having it off does not cause premature wear to any parts. Having it off is just now the ecu is not trying to control wheel slippage. I cant see how having it off would affect warranty. Again my 2 cents!

That is not me, I just would like to go a few days without it on to see what the car wants to do. I have taken it off only for a few minutes at a time but not for long.

Stability Control was not even a option on the 2.5 Altima before 2010........so IMO I can't believe it would void any warranty on either the 2.5 or 3.5.

No it states

Safety

"Front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, four-wheel disc brakes and a tire-pressure monitor are standard on every 2007 Nissan Altima. Antilock brakes are standard on the 3.5 trims and optional on the 2.5 S. Only the 3.5 trims are eligible for traction control (it's standard) and stability control. (It's optional.)"

Not saying this is true.....just a cut and paste.

-row side curtain airbags are standard, but antilock brakes (ABS) are optional on the base and 2.5S (standard on others) and electronic stability control (ESC) is only offered on the 2.5 SL and V6 models. Shame on you, Nissan -- ABS and ESC should at least be optional (if not standard) on all Altimas.

* This is from another review so it all depends on where you get your info, but her car is the 2.5SL and has ESC.
