That pretty much has to be a BCM issue, there's no separate RKEY unit on an '05 like some later models. On gen3's the antenna is integrated into the BCM. It may be that your new BCM is misconfigured, there's a config setting for "with" or "without" keyless entry.
Dealer is saying they cannot access the BCM to re configure it

Oh brother. That might actually be a Consult issue, the latest one (Consult3+) doesn't always work right on stuff from before '07. We still have a working Consult2 here for just that reason. You might need to find a dealer who has one.

Thanks I’ll let them know i really appreciate that. They tried to send me out of here with one key not working after i had to pay for both of them to be re programmed haha

Pretty bad. I can tell you from experience you'll have trouble un-wrinkling the crumple zone behind the broken headlight. You may need to visit a frame machine or even weld on a new hood shelf. The good news is, there are a zillion '02~'06's in the JY's, so the core supports and other bolt-up stuff shouldn't be too hard to find. So sorry, man.

Thank you man I appreciate it and yea your definitely right I’m going to need to pull the area by the headlight but it doesn’t seem to bad for now. Do you have any idea why the car now won’t have the dash lights come on or even attempt to start? When i put the key in the car it does beep so i know I’m getting power but still nothing else will come on

edit: figured out it was the 120amp fuse for the battery so at least now she runs

I'm working on wiring up power and heated seats since I'm stuck waiting for parts, I needed to order a harness for the passenger seat but I have no location for the occupant sensor wiring and can't find any wiring diagram for it. I pretty much have the heated / power seats wired in completely but I'd like to get this occupancy sensor to work for safety reasons and to ensure the airbag won't go off (again 🙃) without an actual passenger. Is there even a way for me to wire in the occupant sensor even with the swapped harness and bcm?

Thank you so much! I found that M000 Is for the main harness and E is for the engine but where would I be able to find out what P stands for? I feel like it's a dumb question but I can't really figure it out

P is the passenger seat subharness. Unfortunately the early FSM's never show the seat harness layouts, so I can't help you with that.
Okay thanks for the clarification. I think i've just about got it figured out here.

M63 (2 PIN ) Connects to B132 - Which my body harness doesn't have and that's why I had that one extra wire previously.

B132 & B139 Connect to P101 ( 6 PIN )

Going to give it a shot tommorow and see if the passenger airbag light comes on but I think i just need to make a jumper wire from M63 and connect it to the corrisponding colors on the P101 connector and the 4 other wires are for the heated seats / seat belt.

Yep, that sounds right. The main thing is to have a connection on the ODS_LED line, that's the comm link between the OCS Controller and the Bag Brain. You might need to have your Bag Brain reconfigured if the car didn't originally have OCS. Generally all submodels in a given MY use the same Brain, but they're configured as a different firmware part number depending on the bag setup.

Can the bag only be reconfigured at Nissan? Also, The seats are from an SER so I assume that module had been configured but does the BCM need to be configured for it? Is it a big deal if the configuration is off in favor of the airbag being turned on at less weight?

The problem here is that OCS was an option in '05, not standard. That means your Brain may not even look at the comm line unless it's configured to look. The BCM isn't in the loop with the Brain, so no worries about that. If you can get the Brain from the seat donor and it didn't blow bags before being junked, that's probably the easiest out.

Is that black box the brain? I really hope so lol, I know the donor car i got these seats from had no issues at all besides a blown head gasket

Ohhhh the air bag module? So I’d need to get another air bag module and configure it with the BCM right?
