Hi
I bought an after market transmission pan from Auto Zone along with the gasket and filter. Their specs say 80in lbs. then cross sequence to 120 in. lbs. I also have a gasket from a Nissan dealer.
Can I use the dealer gasket with after market pan? If so what is the torque?

I just changed my fluid for first time on 2009 2.5s. It was pretty dirty. Unfortunately the gasket (fel-pro) Autozone sold me to match my car doesn’t match. It was short a hole. I ended up using the old gasket which came off in one piece. Then when I went to put the bolts back in, I stripped at least three. Don’t use power tools on this project—not even when taking them off.
There is of course a leak where two bolts next to each other aren’t tight but I’m monitoring it until I can remedy the stripped parts.
Not sure about your gasket question but I wanted to share my mistakes if it helps you.
