Hello all,

I just joined the forum... I am the owner of a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL... I love the car minus the sticky dash issue (which seems to be pretty common in these cars). I remedied this with a cheap dash cover and I've gotten used to it. I recently got all four of my brake pads replaced and rotors turned. I am now noticing a noise that sounds like a jet engine powering down (similar to the noise that the A/C makes when turning off on this car) when I am braking. The brakes feel fine and there is no studdering or any other noise. I also noticed that there is no noise if I just come to a stop from momentum without using the brake. Is this normal??

Thank you all

Brake rotor was cut too aggressive/ incorrectly. Will need to be resurfaced again or replaced to eliminate the noise.
