Hello everyone,

I am trying to install a HU in my 2013, which has the BOSE w/NAV HU, also has the ITS for the blind spot detection, etc.

I originally thought the problem I had was not getting power to the factory camera, but that appears to not be the problem. With everything hooked up, using a PAC AUDIO interface - when the car is turned on and thrown into reverse, the camera shows up for about 15 seconds on the aftermarket HU - then cuts out. Cannot get it to turn back on unless I shut the car off and try again.

I have traced down diagrams, went through service manuals and found that the connectors for the radio do not go directly to the camera, but goto the ITS control module first. From there, that unit powers the backup camera and all. I assume that means that the camera is on, etc. as I have traced and tested.

I am at a loss of options here, because the ITS is sending the feed but then stops. Going through the diagrams, it seems that the unit only has three wires to the HU - the camera (+ and -) and the reverse wire. So, it doesnt appear that the HU is sending any feedback to the ITS unit, but I cant tell.

Any thoughts?

I am having the same exact issue. Have you had any luck resolving the issue? I been digging for any info anywhere.
