I am changing the transmission in my son's 2015 altima 2.5.
A tiny O-ring on the end of the transmission shaft goes into the torq converter.
I can't seem to find that o-ring or what it is called. Any help is appreciated.

I have the TCM from the CVT donor car, is it better to use it or my cars original TCM? If I use the donor TCM is there any programming conflicts between it and my cars ECM.

Use the TCM from the donor, it will already have the correct IP char settings for the tranny. You'll end up paying the dealer for an IP correction if you use your existing one. I know for certain the tranny wiring is identical on '13~'15 and '16~'18, but I'd double-check if you're crossing that boundary with the swap. If so, post back with the exact MY data for both vehicles and I'll advise if anything needs to be tinkered.
