Hello,

CEL - I got this code P0191. My warranty just expired a week ago and I am not sure what to do. I am going to get charged a diagnostic fee. Has anyone seen this code on any of their vehicles? The car has only 31k so I am surprised to see a check engine light on.
FYI - my battery died and I swapped batteries and then I got this code. any help would be great!

P0191 is a flatline code for the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (FRP). It's located on the passenger end of the fuel rail. I'm not sure if it can be changed without pulling the intake plenum and I'm not at the shop to take a look at one, but changing it isn't simple anyway because you have to release the fuel pressure first, which takes a scanner with work support. However, it's a powertrain part which is 5/60 and not 3/36, so if you're still under that, it should be warranty.
