New guy here, I just acquired a 2021 Nissan Altima SV at the start of February, some joker hit the front left end and peeled off the bumper, went and got it replaced and noticed that one headlight was brighter than the other, tried to get it fixed up as well via the people who repaired my car but they said the light must have been an aftermarket light since they repair to back to an OEM state. I checked the adjustment of the light and everything seen fine in terms of adjustment but the light still isn’t as bright as the other side. I tried to find the location of where the led is held but I just can’t find it. I don’t know if I have to just replace the whole headlight or if there’s a spot where I can just change the LED.

If it's a factory type LED then there's no discrete low beam bulb and the low beam isn't serviceable. Nobody I know about makes aftermarket clones for the Nissan setup, so if you can't find a bulb to replace, it means it's almost certainly a Nissan OE assembly. The accident may have tilted the circuit board or damaged the reflector, but there's no way to verify that without cutting the unit open. So you're probably SOL short of replacing the assembly, and get your wallet ready for a whack if that's the case.

They replaced the headlight as well, sorry I forgot to mention that. Unless if you’re talking about the right headlight. I just seen the papers of what repairs they did to it, and I noticed that they replaced it with a non-oem headlight so I’m assuming that could be a reason why it’s not as bright?

Yep, that will definitely do it. The genuine LED headlight assemblies list for about $1500, so body shops definitely try to dodge on them when they think they can get away with it.

Yeah the headlight they put in was like $900. I appreciate the help!
