My horn doesn't work. I just bought the car and went for an inspection and failed for this reason. It makes a noise when I lock the car with the keyless entry or sound the alarm. Also the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel don't work. Im wondering if they are related since both controls are on the steering wheel.

On another note my airbag light flashes. I tried the reset to no avail. I just had a shop put in a new engine.

Can anyone shed some light on these issues?

1st thing I would do is begin with the basics.. Are ALL the fuses/relays good?

For the airbag light, more than likely you'll want to go to a Nissan dealer to retrieve the codes or a shop that has a scanner that can read airbag codes. It could just need to be reset.

Sounds like the place that did your engine forgot to hook up the steering wheel controls.

^Which could have something to do with the steering wheel airbag, thus triggering the light.
