Hey guys. I got a 2007 Altima Hybrid with 150k miles. Driving home from work yesterday 4 lights popped up on the display at once and took the car to a repair shop to scan the car and find out what's going on.

They scan the car and give me the bad news that the hybrid battery needs to be replaced. What are my options here? Guys at the shop said it'll cost about $7000 to have Nissan replace the battery or I can try to find a cheaper battery. They suggested trading it in and getting another car. Can I drive the car without the hybrid battery? For how long?

Appreciate any info you guys can share. Thanks in advance!
