Wanting to know what the best led light to purchase for my 13 Altima. Hi, Low & Fogs. I have purchased numerous brands over the years but they all seem to fail and not at same time like only one side. By fail I mean get really dim.

The problem with all LED headlights is heat, and good thermal engineering isn't cheap. You won't find any reliable low-beam LED's for less than about $200 list price. Not to say that you can't find bargains, I copped a set of Diode Dynamics SL1's for our '13 for $130, but don't expect any $50 set off eBay or Amazon to last very long. If you want reliability then good design, good materials and good construction all cost money. If you don't use your high beams or fogs frequently then you may get away with China-cheap bulbs for those, but for the low beams, expect to get what you pay for. Diode Dynamics is a sponsor here, but I actually chose them because they're the only made-in-USA manufacturer of LED's and their build quality and attention to engineering detail is outstanding. The result was pretty stark, LED on the left, halogen on the right (both housings brand new thanks to the Altima headlight settlement):

Yes I'm not worried about price I've been down that road and I agree when you skimp out you end up with more of a headache than it's worth. So if this is a good brand for longevity that you recommend then I will look into it thank you.
