I'm sure there's a thread or two about this, but for some reason I'm having a hard time finding one (in my defense, I'm new to the forum. Hello all!).

Basically, I'd like to upgrade from the fixed side mirrors to the ones that fold and have turn signals. Are these compatible with my 2.5 S, or are there further modifications necessary? If it matters, the car does have what I think was called the convenience package (leather steering wheel with audio controls and factory-installed spoiler). Any insight is greatly appreciated.

If you have the convience package you should be pre wired for fog lights and turn signal mirrors.

Just pull on the mirror cover and see if you are pre-wired.

This is NOT prewired.


If you are not pre-wired -- you would need to tap into the driver kickplate and run a wire through the door up to the mirror for the driver side AND the passenger side.

Right now I'm in the stages of planning -- not sure how I will run a wire from the driver side to the passenger side.

This is just to get the turn signal working.

To get the heat working -- you need to tap into the fuse box.
