Orientation of the idler pulley and belt tensioner pully

2007 Altima 3.5 SE with AC: Changing serpentine belt, removed the two pulleys mentioned above. I vaguely recall one was facing the wheel with the hollow side and the other was the opposite. Which one should have them hollow side facing wheel? Does it matter?

Yes. That looks like the idler pulley, right?

Yours should be similar to the picture. If you install a new belt, turn the engine by hand several times to insure that the belt is lined up correctly.
