Cleaned MAF sensor and Throttle body while both were disconnected, both sides of the plate moving it manually. After it was started throttle keeps jumping.

Anyone else have these problem? Idle keeps jumping from 800-2000 at idle even while running it moves on its own. Tried doing the manual relearn and still same problem. Never had a problem cleaning electronic throttle except on this car.

Anyone have another suggestion on how to do a relearn either through an app or manually?

Most have luck using a consult II but that involves bringing it to the dealer. If that doesn't work you're into a new throttle body. This has happened countless times after cleaning the TB. I wish Nissan had put a large warning on it not to touch the darn thing.

Yes, exactly this. As far as I have read into this issue in the past, you're not supposed to put any kind of liquefied cleaner into the throttle body at all. Issues galore tend to result if throttle body cleaner is sprayed into it; regardless if its uninstalled first or not. I learned this the hard way ::|.

$55 plus tax. Essentially the charge 1/2hour labour, but it usually takes less time. It took them like 10 minutes on that car. If it wasnt able to be done, I would've gotten a scrap yard throttle body and tried. Most other mechanics quoted me more for relearn

Awesome! Definitely going to contact the dealer and see where we stand with a price. I actually took a trip down to my local scrapyard today just to find a guy that suggested I might have a vacuum leak somewhere in my system. Not too sure on that. I spent days doing research and attempting various relearn procedures and the idle still fluctuates up and down.

This was in canada, so your US dealer might be less. Are you getting any codes, or did the idle start fluctuating after messing around with the throttle body? I also got a lean code too yesterday, and there was a very small leak where the hose valve cover meets the tube to the throttle body. Sealed it with some black rtv
