Hey y'all, so my 2009 Altima has an HID light system in it, and I came back to my car one day to find the headlight assembly cracked. So I ordered new headlight assemblies and discovered they are for halogen bulbs, assemblies for the HID system are vastly more expensive, so I'm wondering if I could convert it? I would need to change out the connector that goes into the ballast on the HID system for a connector that would connect to an H11 bulb. I have all the equipment necessary for that, but I'm having a hard time determining if the wires going to the connector are different in an Altima with an HID system than one with a halogen system, if I swap the connector is it going to be delivering to much wattage? I don't want to mess my car up and end up frying any bulbs I put in there. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks, and sorry for the long post.
