I am new to Nissan. I bought in October of 2013 a 2011 Nissan Altima SL 2.5. I was wondering how reliable the engine and CVT is? When is it recommended to change the CVT fluid? I have 35,000 miles on mine currently and no record of the CVT fluid being changed nor a coolant flush. Thanks!

The CVT has been replaced in a number of Altima's of your vintage. Usually starts with whining or jerky operation. For CVT fluid changes...call your local dealer. If you want to support your ability to claim warranty, if you ever have an issue, following the dealers recommendation will help immensly. Some dealers will tell you not to touch it at all. Some will tell you every 30,000k.
