I don't exactly have the funds to spend $70 on the grounding kit from racingline and I know someone out there has made their own. So can we get a DIY step-by-step?

I bought the longest battery cable they had and a pack of copper terminal ends and cut the wires based on the instructions lenghts and where to connect. It only took a couple hours and about $25. I'm happy with the results and improved power. Windows go up faster, cranks faster, no flickers.

P.S. I would go 4ga. it's better. I would use some heat-shrink tubing over the terminal connections to keep out moisture and looks neater.

7]Sorry to be controversial but IMO no grounding kit is necessary...[/QUOTE]

I see that you are from Mexico so it's safe to say that you do not see snow there when it snows a lot municipalities like to put salt on the roads.
this salt corrodes wires, terminals, harnesses and a lot of other stuff so its always good to check and redo your grounding system if you living environment like we do
I have seen many people benefit from revamping the grounding system in salt climates

That's true. Cars do not rust here. Even really ancient 50s pickups still have original panels. Salt is ruinous to vehicles.
