TMS warning light

Hi all, I registered to post this question about my sister's Altima. It's a 2013 2.5 SL. She recently had new tires put on, and now the TMS light is always on. The tire store assured her the pressures were correct, and I also verified it. Is this a common problem? The user manual says twice that if it stays on it's likely a problem with the TMS. If she took it to her dealer what might they charge to fix it? Would they in fact fix it, or just reset it with it being likely to just come back on? I'm not particularly trusting of dealership shops of any brand. It really doesn't bother her, but she's not the type (she's in her 70's) to use a tire pressure gauge. She's one of those ladies who knows hardly anything about cars, she just expects it to start and run.

BTW I think it's a very nice car.

The dealer should be responsible for making them work if they were working before the new tire install. I would take it back to them. Hopefully the sensors were transferred from your old wheels.
